Anniversary policy: The Leaven only prints 50, 60, 65 and 70th anniversary notices. Announcements are due by 5 p.m. eight days (Thursday) before the desired publication date. Announcements must be typed or neatly printed. They are for parishioners of Catholic parishes in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, or those who had been parishioners for a significant period of time. Information to include:
The couple’s name (including wife’s maiden name)
Their current parish
The date they were married
Church and city where married
What they are doing to celebrate
Date of the celebration
Names of children (and their spouses) if desired and city where they live
Nuber of grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Photo of the couple (if submitting by e-mail, attach a jpg format file of at least 200 DPI. Do not embed the photo into a Microsoft Word file.)
